WOYWW 233

My desk is messy this week!  And its no wonder because  things have been FRANTIC here.  I've given up with writing my NaNoWriMo for this November so lets just sweep that under the carpet for now.  We've been organising a cake and toy sale to raise money for the Phillipines (thank goodness our WOYWW friends Patsy and Peggy are okay) so that's set for later this afternoon.  Also my Dad had an accident with a bench saw and needs plastic surgery later in the week so we've been taking it in turns to look after him.  And I've also been making Christmas cards for 6 on the 6th at S J Crafts.  And I've been making festive soap for Christmas presents.  So I think I should be forgiven for the state of my workspace :-)
I've had lots of parcels coming through the post because I've been busy doing Christmas shopping but I always have a little something in mind for myself and so back in the summer I pre-ordered the Christmas in a Box kit from Shimelle.  I am over the moon with it!  There is a set of Project Life stuff which I've never had before and some gorgeous papers so I am a happy girl, if I ever get time to use it!
At the weekend (so the previous post) I shared details of my Festive Planner with a giveaway of a Christmas collection pack so please do have a look.

Is your desk tidy or messy?  Share pictures and link up with Julia for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  Is there anything festive afoot in your part of the blogosphere?  I'm really getting in the spirit and loving it!

Bye for now
xx

  3. Nothing to forgive, you're hard on yourself! I know the writing thing was set for November but really, any month or spread across any time, writing works, huh! Love the box from shameless, she's so got it!

  5. Goodness, you don't need forgiving Lisa, what a hectic life you have. I hope you Dad is going to be OK, that sounds nasty.
What do you think of Project Life? It's something I had dismissed as not for me but then I saw it demoed and loved it really as somewhere to store pictures and ideas until I could scrap them properly. I'm still pondering about it though!

  6. Wow, you have been busy and I hope your dad's thumb is improving. I had to give up on NaNoWriMo too but I will try again next year. I was going to try soap making this year but Christmas is approaching too quickly! xx

My desk is seriously messy at the moment. Way too many projects on the go at once.

  8. Your desk is really tidy compared to the mess on/in my dining room. I've only photographed the tidy bit as am ashamed of it. DO hope you dad makes a full recovery. Anne x #35

  9. I think for all you have going on that your desk should be messier! It looks like you have some good projects in progress on there, unlike me who has a mess but no projects in progress. What is that stuff?! The goodies in your bottom photo look like a lot of fun. Enjoy playing with them... when you get to it!

  13. You have been busy! I got the Shimelle box too and have been busy preparing my pages over the past couple of days and done my cover today as I have a sneeky day off work whilst my car is in the garage (lovely boss told me to stay at home and still get paid!). Good luck with the cake and toy sale.
