WOYWW 264

Its been a few weeks since I've been able to join in with this wonderful crafty blog hop but I've been in my studio a bit more this week and so felt compelled to share!  I love being able to have the doors wide open but it usually ends up with things being blown onto the floor (I did actually put those layouts on the floor to be photographed though, the wind blew other stuff!)  You can kinda see here that there are piles of stuff growing on my desk....
Strangely the piles from this angle don't look as precarious as they do in real life... perhaps its because you can't actually see that the things on the bottoms of the piles are smaller than the things I have balanced on top!  I'm in a very "let's get on and scrap" mood rather than a "putting things away" mood.  I blame Shimelle and her weekend of challenges!   And no, I don't know why there is a duster on my desk either...
But there is of course a full cup of tea...  Thank goodness!  Lots of lovely papers and photos and ideas and general chaos - perfect!  You might be wondering what that embroidered thing is next to my ATG...  Well actually there are 2 things - one is a stuffed heart that looks like it should hang in the wardrobe smelling nice - but it doesn't smell of anything.  The embroidered thingy is a piece of linen that hangs on your wall for you to display your loo rolls in.  Both items brought back from Malta by my mother "for our new house".  Grief, it almost puts me off moving...
I'm hoping to share a few more layouts and get back to being busy on my blog so please do watch this space.  For now, why not link up your creative room / table / spot on the floor with the lovely Julia (back from her Spanish hospital ordeal and we wish her a speedy recovery!) at Stamping Ground for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Bye for now
xx

  2. An embroidered fabric loo roll whatsit? Consider yourself lucky....I had a rotating silver cruet set as an engagement present from my MiL....AND a plastic crystal ball that encased a yellow rose that wound up and played..yep, you've guessed...The Yellow Rose of Texas....!!!
Kitsch prezzies? Welcome to my world....and don't get me started on what Julia has given me on occasions....grin :-)

  3. What a lovely view you have as you stick! You're like me...any crafting also involves a spot of "pile management" (which doesn't sound quite right, now I write it down...)

  4. Lovely to look out into the garden while you work. You're right, none of those piles look particularly precarious. Unlike those on my own desk. I'm afraid to move anything right now! Gret to see you back among the deskers xx

  8. You look in full scrapping mode there, Lisa and as always I have room envy. Your really do have a lovely space to craft in, my trouble would be staying in the room with the door open though, it would pull me outside!!
Had to smile at your loo roll thingy!!!

  9. It all looks so creative ... Is that a tin on the left? It's so pretty.

Oh and I'm guessing that toilet roll thing will be quite collectible with the resurgence of vintage decor :) bet you're getting really excited about the move.

  10. How lovely to be able to just walk out from your craft room into a lovely garden, although working with gilding flakes might be a bit challenging there. Your desk does look much better than mine, and you can see floor space, which I can't at the moment. Have a good week in your beautiful room. xx Maggie #60

  11. I love the idea of being able to see into the garden and if it gets really warm you can open the door which makes it much more comfortable.
This is a lovely room and there's lots going on so hope you have a productive week and happy crafting, Angela x #43
