WOYWW 172

For those of you who remember the spillage from last week, yes I have picked it all up!  Some people said it might seem like I had more than I had to begin with, you know how these things spread, but no, I kept trying to increase my stash by spilling more but it didn't work.  Neither did I find anything too exciting, so I'm afraid it was a lose lose situation, especially when you consider the pure filth that spilled from my normally chaste lips when I stood on an upturned eyelet.

So this is today.

There are pink letters and an orange and pink layout to be finished off and then on top of that is a poly bag of  "bits" which I'm getting ready to take to my niece's tomorrow.  I'm going to do some stamping and colouring and some fussing cutting of flowers ready for another layout and hopefully let her get some much needed rest.

Just for fun I thought I would give you another view of my desk so that you can see the couple of things that I added a little while ago now - my bunting and my belly cast.  I haven't decorated my cast at all yet and I may not.  I'm just happy for now that it is up on the wall and out of the way and it still makes me smile thinking of my crazy girl being tiny and all tucked up inside it 3 years ago.

Don't forget to share your workspace.  We all love a good snoop.  Show us what you are working on this week and then link up with Julia to see other desks from all over the world.  It will be good to see you.

Bye for now
xx

  2. I'm loving the look of those papers,Lisa I could do something with those beautiful leaves. Pink and orange is a great combination.
Your cast is amazing, I've never seen anything like it before, although I wouldn't have had much to fill one, and that's not a brag. I had such a tiny bump our neighbours didn't even know I was pregnant until they saw the pram!!!
    Your little nephew is gorgeous.
    Happy WOYWW

  5. I however was the opposite of Lisa...The neighbours would see my belly come round the corner long before the rest of me...I was convinced the doc had missed the extra heartbeat and it was twins! LOL however it was just one and they would have run out of plaster if they had to try do a mould on me! Nice desk by the way!

  16. Well that's certainly a new thing for me, a belly cast!! Never in all my life heard of that before! Makes those dress forms that people love to decorate seem really boring in comparison!! As cute as the new nephews are, and glad to hear they're doing well, it's that lovely pup that has captured my heart! The trip up North was fantastic, I'd love to live in that neck of the woods but there's no work for me.

  18. Oh the belly cast is fantastic. Think mine would have been twice the size as I was quite the beached whale some 14 years ago now! Only my friend carrying twins ever came close to the size of me with one! BJ#19

  20. Just now getting around to visiting! I love your funky-shaped window. How fun is that. The belly cast is a new one on me, but really cool. How would you decorate it anyway? Designs like you had tattoos? Rings in your navel and elsewhere? Goodness! I just did a pink and orange swap and I'm still not convinced those colors go together, but they look good jumbled up on your desk!
