So Louis finished Infant school yesterday and Bella finished preschool so it has been a real watershed week. I managed to get all the presents and cards made that I wanted and they all seemed to go down well. This was the state of my desk after I had finished...
And this is one of the sets I made. A desk calender and matching card for his male teacher (thanks for the ideas about charms last week but I just couldn't bring myself to make him something blingy!
This post is brought to you by the wonders of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.
Bye for now

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fight with the desk and lost! love the teacher gifts, a colleague's wife is a teacher and her favourite gift is actually stationary and notecards, cause she has to send so many notes home to parents, or answer ones she receives from them. Maybe a thought for another year?

Hi Lisa-Jane
ReplyDeleteyour desk does show that you have been really busy and I have to say I love the set you made for the teacher, the owl is so cute.
Holidays when the kids are younger does take a lot of planning. I can tell you that when they become teenagers they just tell you where they are going and all they really need you for is a taxi, Just proof that there is life after youngsters.
Sending hugs for WOYWW and hope you enjoy the rest of your week
